The Hauser Lake Water Association Inc. is a non-profit, member-owned purveyor of domestic water in the Hauser Lake Community. We provide domestic water to residents in the City of Hauser and the surrounding unincorporated area serving over 500+ members/customers.
The Association’s water is supplied by two wells near Cloverleaf Road and Highway 53, which draw water from the Rathdrum Aquifer. The water is pumped from the wells to the 300,000-gallon Joe Leigh Memorial reservoir, completed in 2014. From the reservoir, water is delivered to our members via gravity flow assisted by three booster stations, one on Cliffhouse Road, one on Cloverleaf Road, and one on Hauser View Road. The Cliffhouse Road booster station also pumps water to a second 120,000-gallon reservoir near the Woodlake subdivision on the east side of the lake.
The Association is governed by a five-member Board of Directors elected by the members and employs two part-time Secretaries and a part-time Operator.
